''Missing my innocent son who is in prison, made me sick''

Residing in Duzova (Lebbana) neighborhood of Ceylanpinar district, Zengin family have expressed that, many suspects who were accused by Ergenekon and Balyoz cases were released  but their son being kept in prison because of unfounded crimes is unconscientious.

Stating, many persecutions happened to them no longer bearable, father molla Hamdi Zengin, said that his son was put into jail since 1992 due to slanders and documents that he was forced to sign during torture.

Molla Hamdin said; ‘’my son Abdullah was judged unfairly. My son was going to mosque and learn holy Quran and Arabic lessons. They slandered to my son. They made my son to sign documents they prepared, through torture. I want my son’s victim situation to be considered and I demand re-trial. Because I am old, I no longer can go to visit my son who is in prison for 24 years so far. Also his mother can’t go to visit him because she is old and sick. On the days that I go to visit him my feet gets swollen, I fall tired and exhausted.’’

"The Prime Minister or the President does not know about us"

Suffering that religious people kept out of new laws, which should cover all citizens, but only covers other people than those who are religious, painful father said; “The Prime Minister or the President does not know about us. Unfortunatelly the Press and media are remained blind and deaf about the issue. I urge the government to be compassionate. They should see these problems of us and open the ways for these not guilty and innocent people to be re-judged. "

"Missing my innocent son who is in prison, made me sick"

65 years old Fatma Zengin, mother of Abdullah Zenging who is being arrested for 24 years, said; ‘’My son, Abdullah was a religious person who was affiliated Holy Koran and knew its value. He would go over to the major scholars to learn and teach. Lately he went Ceylanpinar Seyda Sheikh Mouhammad Ali madrasa because he was there to learn Arabic and Holy Quran, those who didn’t like slandered him. He has being held in prison for 24 years for no reason. Thank Allah my son didn’t give up reading and being scholar and continued reading also in the prison. Missing my innocent son who is in prison, made me sick. I have surgery on my eyes and my heart because of my health situation; I can only go to see my son once a year. Government should re-judge him by considering this injustice and judge him again and give an end to this unjust arrest because he is innocent. "

"I will be complaining from Those who slander my son in Akhira-day"

Due to the injustice done to her son stating that both of her hands will be holding the shirt of those who are responsible, Zengin said; ‘’ I won’t forgive my rights to those who have slandered and injustice to my son. Our eyes watching the road for the moment that he will come back since 24 years, I cry for my son constantly. My son’s youth life passed in prison neither he has a wife nor children. I am craving for this. I'm old I want my son to be released. I appeal from here to the government to end this persecution and be fair. How long more will you be persecuting to my son? “( ILKHA)
