Villagers disclaim PKK media

PKK media keeps go on slandering the towns and villages due to HDP had fewer votes in those places. Slamming the PKK media purported that HUDA PAR members are militarily being trained in the village by soldiers, police and village guards, villagers said that we are slandered because HDP took fewer votes in the village.

Stating that “We are accustomed to be slandered” Necmettin Ucar from Taslicay village said that, “we have been slandered many times before but our door is open to everybody, anyone can come to our village and can see whether there is something like that.”

Indicating that “Lying and slandering count for nothing for ones who don’t respect other’s view and ideas”, Nezir Demir a resident in the village added that, “Due to HUDA PAR got major votes in the village, PKK media started to target us such slanders and lies.”

Highlighting that they have been attacked, slandered and become the target of PKK and its adherents since 1990s, Yuksel Sonmez a villager said that, “Most of the young men in the village are suffering from the illness of Silicosis and it is the time for mowing and putting the herds out to grass and other errands and we put all these works aside and we take military training in the village. Even the children laugh at these silly allegations. In addition, our village is open to everybody, we have nothing to hide. Anyone can come and have a tour both in the village and around the village. As you can see we even don’t have a gendarme station in the village. Everybody knows that they are slandering us because HDP couldn’t take many votes in the village. In fact no one pays attention to their slanders in fact they themselves don’t believe these lies.”

On 7th June General Election result in the village is after total ballot boxed opened, HDP 55, AK Party 14, Independent candidate supported by HUDA PAR Sait Sahin 439.

As it can be remembered after 30th March Local Elections two HUDA PAR members Fethi Yalcin and Cengiz Tiryaki were killed by PKK thugs. After general elections, PKK’s media’s slandering news brings some questions to the mind whether they position themselves to justify for possible attacks.

On the other hand PKK media incited anarchy in Karliova by imposing not to open the shops all over the city some time ago. Thus some shopkeepers didn’t want to obey them and they were attacked but they were shown as assailants in PKK media. (ILKHA)
