SIIRT - Seven people were arrested in the investigation into the landslide that occurred in a private mine in Şirvan, district of Siirt.

It is reported that seven people were arrested under the investigation carried out on the catastrophic landslide in a private mine that occurred in the evening hours on November 17th in Şirvan.

According to the statement made by the Governorship of Siirt, 16 workers who were trapped in the landslide on November 17 that happened in Şirvan, they have reached the funeral of 13 workers and continue to work for the removal of 3 persons under the soil.

In the investigation initiated by the Siirt Public Prosecutor Office, 2 people who were determined to be negligent were taken into custody yesterday evening. After completing the statement, the job security expert SK and the corporate engineer MK were arrested in the court after their statement in the prosecutor office.

Thus, the number of people arrested in connection with the disaster that has been in existence since the beginning of the investigation has increased to 7, while one person has been searched.

Body of 3 workers still not found

Body of twelve of the 16 workers who were under the soil had reached. As a result of the searches made, body of another worker is reached yesterday.

The body found that belongs to a married and the father of six children, born in Van Edremit, truck driver Nusret Beyazalma, the family identified the body.

Beyazalma's body was delivered to the family to be buried after the autopsy procedures.
