'Those experiencing in the Muslim region are tearing our heart'
ISTANBUL - Speaking at the Mawlid an-Nabi, organized by the Diyarbakır Provincial Mufti, the Provincial Mufti Burhan İşleyen said that painful events in the Muslim region tearing their hearts.
Speaking in the Mawlid an-Nabi program organized by the Provincial Mufti in the Cebeli Nur Mosque located in Kayapınar district of Diyarbakir, Mufti Burhan İşleyen said, "The pain and sadness that are experiencing in Muslim geographies break our heart."
The Mawlid an-Nabi program started with the Qur'an recitation and read Mawlid [written poem on the life of Prophet Muhammad]. Hymn voiced and then prayed.
Diyarbakır Provincial Mufti Burhan İşleyen who made a speech with the meaning and importance of the day in the program, said that because of the anniversary the birth of Prophet Muhammad, programs were organized in all the mosques.
İşleyen said, "Unfortunately, we have experienced one more of the painful event that we have experienced over the last few months. We pray in this blessed night through Mawlid an-Nabi. Rabbi, yesterday, the event that happened in Istanbul Beşiktaş, we ask to be the last of these events. We hope for mother shouldn’t cry, hearts shouldn’t tear apart, young lives shouldn’t pass away."
Hoping that attacks resemblance to the bombed assault the PKK organized in Istanbul may not happen again, İşleyen said, "Just as the directorate of religious affairs ordered by the direction of our country as we are in Diyarbakir, we are reading the whole the Quran in all the mosques. The Salawat is saying and prayed for the martyrs. We will pray for resemble event not happen again."
By opening our hands to Allah in this blessed night, those experiencing in the whole Islamic world, especially in our country, tear our hearts apart every day. Images coming from the Syrian side are the pain and suffering in the Muslim geographies, and the sadness tears our heart."
"Unfortunately there is blood in Muslim geography"
Faysal Yaşa, who shares his feelings on Mawlid, said that Mawlid is a great contributor to the human world, the day that the Prophet was born. This is why we came to the mosque. This date is very important. For the sake of this night, may bring successful in in our country, the international arena and the Middle East. Unfortunately there is blood in Muslim geography. This makes us sad. I hope our geography will be saved from shedding blood for the sake of this day."
Fikret Uçar, who said that there is brotherhood, love and peace in the Ummah of the Prophet Muhammad, wishes Mawlid to be instrumental to charity.
Uçar, "Dammit to all kinds of terrorism. There is peace, brotherhood and love in the Ummah of the Prophet Muhammad. There is no terrorist act and no discrimination. No matter who dies in the attack? We could be there in Istanbul on the attack. Let’s be together, let’s be brothers."
