Rahmet Eli Food Bank (Mercy Hand Food Bank) issues Ramadan activity report
VAN - A member of Umut Kervani (Hope Caravan) Aid Platform, Van Rahmet Eli Food Bank issued its Ramadan activity report.
It is well-known due to its aid activities, member of Umut Kervani Aid Platform Association of Rahmet Eli Food Bank and Solidarity with Needy Persons issued its Ramadan activity report.
Sabri Yildirim, head of Rahmet Eli Food Bank briefed press members about their activities; he said that,” During Ramadan we helped in total 830 families 65.373 Turkish Lira worth of aid materials and cash assistance.”
“From Rahmet Eli to 830 families 65 thousand 737 TL worth of help”
Saying that, with the blessing of Ramadan we scaled up our activities, Yildirim, head of Rahmet Eli Food Bank said that, “During this month we helped 739 families 34.962 Turkish liras worth of food aid. We handed 91 families 30.775 Turkish liras worth of cash assistance. We conveyed food aid packets to 30 families that come from IHO EBRAR aid association and also 3 orphan families had clothing support from a volunteer. Thanks God we had a blessing Ramadan. We thank to sensitive brothers and benefactor businessman. May God bless them all.”
“Our aid activities will continue”
Indicating that our help activities either with aid packages or cash assistance delivered to first hand, Yildirim said that, “There were families had recourse to us in Ramadan and there were others had recourse before the Ramadan. We evaluated those recourses and through benefactor compatriots and tradesmen we helped to those brothers. Aid packages and cash assistance were delivered to the families first hand. Thanks God we have delivered our aid to 830 families during Ramadan. Our aid program will be implemented every month regularly.”
Reminding that they have started to get ready for Eid al-Adha, Yildirim told our news agency that, “Our helping program moves along. We are going to continue to help some families determined by us before Ramadan. Beside this, we are getting ready to start a clothing support, all being well we will start for clothing support before Eid al-Adha. In addition we will have some other activities for Eid al-Adha.” (ILKHA)
