“We want the criminals to be tried”
SIRNAK - Uncle Suat Yıldırım, who talked about the incident where the police armored vehicle entered a house in Şırnak’s Silopi and killed 2 children, said that they want the criminals to be tried.
Uncle Suat Yıldırım, speaking on the incident that an armored police vehicle entered in a house and caused the death of 2 children, said that, “We are lodging a complaint, we want the accused people to be tried.”
Suat Yıldırım, who lost 2 nephews, said that they are still in shock of the event and said, “Suddenly there was an earthquake sound. We hurried out. All the neighbors were gathered. We went home, we could not open the doors. The room was dusty smoke. I saw the body of my two nephews. They were shattered. Panzer even entered in the hall. It broke the columns and went inside. This shows that it was full speeding in the narrow streets.”
Uncle Yıldırım, who said that the children were under intense care immediately, said that no one in the hospital made a statement to them, no one answered the questions they had asked about the incident and said, “Everyone was upset and angry there. We asked as ‘we expect and answer why an armored vehicle driving full speed in a narrow street?’ No one made a statement to us. We are complainants. We do not leave our case. We want the criminals to be tried.”
Police armored vehicle in Silopi hit Mesut Yıldırım's house in Karsiyaka Neighborhood 715 Street. 7-years-old Muhammet and his brother 6-years-old Furkan Yıldırım who were sleeping in the house lost their lives in the accident.
