KILIS - One sergeant died and two specialist sergeants are injured as a result of the gunfire from Syria to the soldiers in the boarder in Elbeyli district of Kilis. The battle is currently ongoing.

It has been reported that there was gunfire to Dag Hudut police station in Elbeyli’s Syria border. As a result of gunfire, one sergeant died and two specialist sergeants were injured. The battle between the soldiers and ISIS is currently ongoing in the border.

It has also been reported that in the incident that took place today at 4pm, there was a sudden gunfire from the border of Syria and the soldiers began to fight back. During the battle one sergeant died and two sergeants were injured.

Sergeant Yalcin Nane was killed whilst Necef Cakmaktepe and Fatih Kurt were wounded. The battle carries on and it has been reported that a member of ISIS has also died during the incident.

The battle began with the gunfire attack from Syria and F16’s have been sent off from Diyarbakir heading towards the Syria boarder.

Armed Brigade Commander, Camalettin Dogan has also headed towards the scene location. (ILKHA)
