Mustazafs Association made call to the authorities on increasing theft cases

Mustazafs Association Batman Branch Chairman Feyzi Aydın, made a call to authorities on increased theft events in the city in recent months.

Aydın said that the cases should be prevented before any further increase. Aydın stated that everyone know that especially in internet cafes, in street corners that the drugs were sold to children, young people in an organized manner.

Aydın said, “After drawing attention to this problem before that had already been experienced, some inspections were done by law enforcement officers on some internet cafes, and that made us pleased. But only recently we have witnessed some cases of snatching on women in some places. And it has made us very sad.”

Aydın asked the law enforcement officers should to take measures against thefts that bothers and distresses the people, said, “Generally, theft gangs work as network in Batman. This gang is both local and publicly recognized. They work as organized. How come police officers not knowing them when the people know them. Our call is that law enforcement must take measures against them.”

Noting that the problem had to be prevented before there were worse results, Aydın said otherwise he worried that much worse results would arise in the future.

Aydın said, “We think that the law enforcement officers, who have the power to overcome these incidents, should intervene and interfere with them as soon as possible. We are very uncomfortable with this situation. We would like to point out that we are very sorry for this because we have nothing to do with it. People have steel door at the 5th floor of a building. It is a shame for our city that people protect their windows with iron railing. We believe that these incidents should be prevented immediately.” (M.Fatih Akgül - ILKHA)
