ADANA - HUDA PAR’s Adana head province remarked how wild the killings were against religious people by PKK members and that the government is responsible for failing to protect people.

‘No life safety in Adana for religious people'

HUDA PAR’s Adana head province Veysel Yavuz described the murderers of Ethem Turkben, who was killed in Seyhan, as inhumane, “Committing a murder of this type shows how monstrous and ferocious they are. Murdering someone in the sight of his family and children on the dinner table portrays how monstrous they are.”

Ethem Turkben was murdered treacherously in the sight of his family and children when he returned home from the mosque Seyha. PKK proponent has published on the media that Turkben was a supporter of HUDA PAR. This was published on purpose to twist things around said Yavuz and he made explanations to the press regarding the situation.

“Tukben was a religious person who taught Quran”

Yavuz remarked the fact that lately PKK has been targeting religionists to attack, “Our brother Ethem Turkben was shot and now he is a martyr. The media has portrayed Turkben as a supporter of HUDA PAR however he had no membership with our party neither with any foundation or association. The general public describes him as; a person who fixed himself up over the past years, he started growing his beard, he was a religious man who used to go mosque and teach Quran” said Yavuz also underlying that Turkben worked equally with all Civil Society Organisations to act in favour of Islam.

“Once again the murderers have showed how savage they are”

Yavuz drew attention to the fact that in the past days ISIS has been used as an excuse to begin a war against religionists. The killing of Turkben was a cruel homicide and his family had to witness this murder said Yavuz.

“A murder of this kind shows how cruel they are and it clearly indicates what they will do for their own benefit of reaching their goals. Murdering a person in the sight of his family and kids on their dinner table indicates how savage and heartless they have become. The murderers treated Turkben no different from a robot and they don’t even know the reason as to why they killed him” said Yavuz.

“Religionists have no life safety”

The government is acting death against the attacks to religious people said Yavuz, “We clearly see what has happened when there is no safety and security. It is obvious that if there is no security and the government fails to protect its citizens then there will be no life safety for anyone. The government should take up responsibility and take action to protect the life and goods of people and if they fail to do so this will result in people trying to protect themselves as a reflex. This is a major threat, which will lead to chaos in public and therefore needs to be seriously avoided. The government should act up and fulfil their duty and the murderers of the homicides need to found as soon as possible.”

We should act together as a whole against those who are targeting religionists said Yavuz. (ILKHA)
