Yavuz visited the ex-county executive of Tarsus who was attacked
MERSIN - HUDA PAR’s General Secretary Mehmet Yavuz visited the former county executive of Tarsus Mehmet Ali Kutan in hospital who was involved in a gun attack.
HUDA PAR’s General Secretary Mehmet Yavuz visited HUDA PAR’s former county executive of Tarsus Mehmet Ali Kutan who was injured in a gun attack in Tarsus in the district of Mersin. Yavuz held a press meeting outside Tarsus State Hospital stating, “These attacks are no different from the massacre in Suruc.”
Yavuz informed the members of HUDA PAR who were waiting outside the hospital to be informed about Mehmet Ali Kutan’s health condition, “Thank Allah our brother Mehmet Ali Kutan is very well. Some are trying to shift the direction of people and drag drag them into hell. We have a lot to do, we cannot give up this soon.”
“As you are all aware we had a heartrending incident in Suruc. This incident has mourned Turkey and it was probably set to incite a conflict, which they have managed to do. The massacre in Suruc resulted in the death of people from the civil society. This incident was very upsetting and I extend my condolences once again on behalf of HUDA PAR to the families of those who lost their lives”, said Yavuz.
“The legitimacy of a government is arguable if it cannot protect its people”
“We can see that over the past two days armed organisations and political extensions are trying to create chaos over the recent incidents in the country. We regret to say that the government has remained silent in this case. Required measures are not taken to prevent such incidents as they are just audiences to the scene. The legitimacy of a government is arguable if it cannot protect its people”, added on Yavuz.
“We hold sides when there are attacks set against Islam and its doctrine”
“We would like to underline that the murdering of our brother in Adana and our brother that is under treatment in the hospital are both attacks set against Islam and its doctrine. For this obvious reason we hold sides. We are aware that our brothers were attacked because of their Islamic beliefs. Armed gangs are carelessly on the streets with their shotguns, which we see as an attack to Islam and the doctrine of Islam. This should be seen by public opinion. Left marginal groups are gathering under PKK/HDP’s shelter to organise operations against Islam. We hope that those who wish to cause chaos in the country will not reach their aim”, said Yavuz.
Yavuz concluded his speech by stating, “As HUDA PAR we see these incidents no different to the incident in Suruc as they were both targeted innocent people. Those who aim at innocent people from the civil society, especially to those who have the characteristics of Islam such as long beard, headscarf or turbans are the same kind of people.” (ILKHA)
