DIYARBAKIR - Hope-Gate [Umut Kapısı] Food Bank Association, which operates in Diyarbakır, completed preparations for Ramadan.

Diyarbakır Hope-Gate Food Bank, which is in periodical activities for helping families with needs, has completed preparations for Ramadan.

Hope-Gate Food Bank President M. Sıddık Furkan, stated that they will do all the necessary help to the families who have the needs determined by the “Poor Family Determination Commission” in Diyarbakır center and he also requested support from philanthropists said while informing about their works.

Furkan said that they want to see all the people next to them with their aid especially all the people of Diyarbakır. “We are preparing to reach the victims and the poor in Diyarbakır as Hope-Gate Food Bank in these days that we will be entering the month of Ramadan. Our target is to help food and clothing for over 5,000 victims in this year, which we have already determined in our data.”

Indicating that they will make food aid and clothing aid during Ramadan, Furkan said, “Our food packages cost of 60 and 80 Turkish Liras [$ 17- 23]. In this blessed month, which is a month of mercy, blessing and charity, we will reach the victims' families by being the bridges in the aid of the charitable owners.”

“Let's be hope together for the needy”

Furkan said, “Let's reach with you together to those you can’t reach individually for your aid and visit these families. Their eyes are on their way during this Ramadan, expecting aid from some charity owners. Let's be hope together to those in need.”

Furkan stated that they will also reach Syrians who took migrated in Diyarbakır due to of the war in their country, especially those who reside and suffered in the province of Sur center. “There is data of thousands of Syrian families we have.
