“If we do not unite, they will continue making money by flowing our blood”
BATMAN - Responding to the questions of members of the press in Batman, “If we do not become one, they will continue to make money by flowing our blood,” said Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, HUDA PAR President related to the US’ selling weapons.
Participating in the iftar program organized by the party in Batman, HUDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, made important remarks about the agenda.
Yapıcıoğlu reacted to the events organized by the Batman Municipality under the name of ‘Ramadan Festivals’, said, “We are in a prayer month that is expected to change us in a blessed mercy climate. But also there are also people who try for not the change of community in Ramadan. These are also trying to change the Ramadan. I came to Batman yesterday, received information from my brothers who witnessed one of the events of changing Ramadan in the most central place of the city. An organization held here like in many places of Turkiye as if Ramadan is not a month of prayer and Quran but a month of fun. It's a painful situation. We are in a time which people cannot get a bite of bread, a glass of water to fast break. We go through a process where wars turn this world into hell.”
“They pick war in all over the world, to provoke wars and sell more weapons”
On the question about the weapon deal that the US made with Saudi Arabia, Yapıcıoğlu said: "America is the world's largest selling weapon country. The UN Security Council has five permanent members. Four of them are among the top five selling guns. There are only Germany that is not a member of the Security Council in the first five. These are supposedly the countries that will ensure the safety of the world, security is asked of them but they are the ones that produce the most weapons and market them to the world. Of course, they are not producing and marketing these weapons to make the world a more reliable place. They are also armed to be deterrents, but these countries pick wars on all sides of the world, provoke wars and sell more weapons.”
Yapıcıoğlu pointed out that they are planning to sell weapons to the Gulf countries, “They have provoked many wars in the place they call the Middle East, which actually is Islamic geography. There is a lot of confusion right now, they are provoking people against each other on sectarian or ethnic grounds. Now they are planning to heat the waters in the Gulf and sell weapons to the Gulf countries in abundance. Their plans work also step by step. If we do not become brothers as we should be, if we continue to fight each other, they will continue to make money by pouring our blood.”
“We believe that the healthiest decision-making rate for the future of Iraqi Kurdistan can be given by their people,” said Yapıcıoğlu on the question asked about Kurdistan's independence referendum. “Eventually, the people there will decide about their own future, and everyone must respect that decision,” added.
“There is no place for any nation to arrive by admiring western or by leaving its own essence”
Yapıcıoğlu pointed out that “If there is an intention, indeed sincerely of the government to raise a 'religious generation', it is absolutely necessary to protect young people from bad habits, fugitives and especially social media. The Government need to take serious precautions. Each tree rises on its own roots. If a nation does not want to be demolished, it must absolutely keep its roots intact, have to return to its essence and rise upon it. There is no place for any nation that have western admiration or leave its own essence.”
“I am amazed at the words ‘America is our strategic friend and ally’”
Referring to the question of the US on weapons support to the PYD, Yapıcıoğlu continued: “Some are surprised that Americans are giving them weapons and I am amazed at what they are saying, ‘America is our strategic friend and ally.’ They [the US] are not anybody's friend. They are only friends of their own interests. They give them weapons today because their interests require it, and if their benefit needs then tomorrow they will bomb the people they give weapons now.” (M. Fatih Akgül - ILKHA)
