“Great missions fall to scholars”

Speaking at the reception of Ayatollah Sheikh Muhsin Eraki, President of Diyanet Mehmet Görmez said, “As we Muslims increase our interest meetings, division spread more, we need to rethink on the method. There is a great deal of work fall to Scholars to do. Scholars are the salt of the city and world. When the salt spoiled then there is nothing to do.”

Mehmet Görmez, who accepted the delegation of Eraki, expressed his satisfaction with the visit.

Görmez said, “It is necessary to discuss more and talk more in difficult times. Allah may not deprive us from not looking at our faces.”

“A world without Islam has been demanded for two centuries”

Speaking about the world without Islam has been demanding for two centuries, President Görmez said, “The world is in a constant shape, and those who want to design the world are not in a kind of satisfaction. They are constantly in a different world demand. They demand a world that its spirit has been taken, an Islam that does not demand for right and justice. But unfortunately most of the Muslims are not aware of it. Some Muslims even are helping to them with sectarian motive.”

Eraki also said, “Your honor is our honor. The honor of people in Turkiye is the honor of Islam. Allah increases the honor of your people. I ask from Allah to establish the unity of Ummah. If the unity of the ummah is established, we believe that the greatest power of the world will be the Islamic ummah. Unfortunately the power of the Islamic ummah is being used against the Islam.” (ILKHA)
