BURSA - A program named “Hazrat Joseph and chastity” was held by coordinator of Bursa Lovers of Prophet Platform.
Bursa branch of Lovers of Prophet Platform which made its name by performing mass activities, performs programs under the name of “An activity for every month” that the subject of this month’s activity is Hazrat Joseph and Chastity.
A broad participation was seen in the activity held in Ordekli Cultural Center which started after the evening prayer.
The program, of which the presenter was Ibrahim Ates, started with Mullah Mesut Bicim’s reciting of Quran. The program in which hosted two speakers, Theologian Ridvan Yont presented some sections in Hz. Joseph biography.
Saying that Allah (swt) has given the name “the most beautiful story” to the story tells Joseph life, Yont said that, “Do you ever think why Allah (swt) has called the Joseph’s story as ‘Ahsen-ul Kasas’ (the most beautiful story)? As we know, there are stories of 25 Prophets and three other righteous people most likely to be Prophets. Allah has presented some parts from their lives. Yet, He has called the Prophet Joseph’s story as the most beautiful one. We need to consider that well. When this was asked to our prophet Hz. Muhammad (pbuh), He (pbuh) said Joseph was the most pious ( taqva) of humanity.”
The program continued with the hymns chanted by Iqra Band next Coordinator of Bursa branch of lovers of Prophet Platform Cemil Genc made his speech.
The greatest test of our age is; Youth’s chastity problem
Taking the Chastity matter as a subject in his speech, Genc said that, “The greatest test of our age is; youth’s chastity problem.”
Mentioning some parts from Hz. Joseph’s story and Sahaba’s lives, Genc said that, “Infidels targeting directly the society’s sense of chastity. And they do this consciously. There are 2 important sayings of our Prophet about chastity, if we read them carefully; we can understand well why they target youth’s sense of chastity. Our Prophet (pbuh) uttered that “modesty and faith are friends. When one of them leaves, then the other leaves as well.”
In another saying He (pbuh) said that, “When God wants to wrath someone, He first takes his modesty from Him and you witness him doing every wrong thing in his life.” As we see in this saying when society’s modesty is taken from it then people in the society get ready to commit every wrong thing and sins in their lives.”
The program ended with Mullah Murat Ileri’s prayer who got on the stage after Hymn band of Iqra. (ILKHA)
