VAN - Van bottled gas sellers who cannot sell easily due to the decision to make propane and camp cylinders sales in the houses according to the Turkish identity number and the serial number of the cylinder are experiencing troublesome days.

Due to the conflict process that occurred in the region over the past year, strict control was given to the sale of the bottles gas used in explosive devices. According to the declaration of the decision, the sales of the bottled gas started to be made according to the serial number of the Turkish ID number and the ID number of the bottled gas.

The shopkeeper of bottled gas site stated that they have performed a decision for the last one year and some of their customers do not want to say their ID numbers so they cannot sell their products easily.

“When delivering the bottled gas to the customers usually in the day time so only women and children are at home and they do not want to give their ID numbers,” said the bottled gas sellers. Also added that they have troublesome recently.

“We have not suffered this much at any time”

Serdar Orhan, a 40-year-old bottled gas, demanded the support of the authorities, stating that for the first time since the decision on the necessity of obtaining identity numbers from customers, they were experiencing such difficulties.

“We do not deserve this punishment”

Orhan stated that they were subject to fines and that they did not deserve this penalty because they could not get identity card number from the customers. “We were all subjected to punishment last week because our customers did not give their ID number. We do not deserve this punishment. The address of the bottled gas we have already sold and the houses we give are certain. The responsibility for this is the grocery, LPG stations.” (Yılmaz Sönmez - ILKHA)
