Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu go to Bangladesh for Rohingyan
NEWS CENTER - Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will visit Bangladesh to discuss the situation of Rohingyan Muslims those fled to Bangladesh.
Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will visit Bangladesh on 7-8 September 2017 to discuss the situation of Rohingyan Muslims who have persecuted by the Myanmar government and took refuge in Bangladesh.
“Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will visit Bangladesh on 7-8 September 2017 in order to offer our support and observe the on-site conditions of approximately 120.000 Rohingya refugees who have been forced to flee to Bangladesh by the recent developments in the northern Rakhine State of Myanmar and Rohingya refugees who have previously been sheltered there,” said in the statement made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the subject.
It was stated that Çavuşoğlu during his visit, would be in talks with representatives of authorities and international aid agencies in Dhaka the capital of Bangladesh.
In addition, Çavuşoğlu will visit the camps where immigrants live in the city of Cox's Bazar in Myanmar border, is expected to bring relief supplies here. (ILKHA)
