'Hope Caravan' distributes sacrifice meat to needy people in Viranşehir
SANLIURFA - Hope Caravan [Umut Kervanı] distributed the meat to needy families after mass sacrifice in Şanlıurfa's province of Viranşehir.
Hope Caravan delivered meat of sacrificed animals to the needy people, widowed, orphans, poor and Syrian families who previously determined by volunteers' diligent work in the Viranşehir district of Şanlıurfa.
Mehmet Kaya, an official of the Hope Caravan, said, “We have sacrificed our animals in a mass and organized manner this year. Our members and volunteers have come to the tents for meat to be reached to poor families. According to the list of findings of our detection commission previously we have started to distribute the meat to the needy.”
Kaya said, “The meat of the sacrificed animals was packaged in a healthy environment and while the cutting work was continuing, a team began to distribute the sacrifices to the poor families of Syrian and family from Viransehir, which we had previously identified.”
The Netherland-based International Assistance Organization IHO-EBRAR, has also delivered meat to previously identified needy families. (Sabri Acet - ILKHA)
