HAKKARI - The workers who were murdered in the attack of PKK in Yüksekova, province of Turkiye’s Hakkari were given to the soil.

While working on the energy transfer line to Hakkari's military base zone in the Çobanpinar district of Yüksekova province, the workers were given to the soil who lost their lives in the armed attack of PKK.

Sabri Özdel (40), the father of two children who lost his lives in the attack, was brought to the morgue of Yüksekova State Hospital in the morning hours.

Later, the funeral, taken from the morgue, was buried in Akalan Cemetery after the funeral prayer performed at Akarsu Mosque.

The father of three children, 35-years-old electrical technician Hazım Şahin, who lost his life in the same attack, was taken from the Hakkari State Hospital and buried in ‘Kızıl Kümbet’ Cemetery.

On the other hand, father of a child electrical engineer Fendi Yüzgeç who was seriously injured in the attack was learned that to be sent to Ankara. The other two injured were Ferdi Karatay and Mustafa Kaya, who stated that these workers were employees of the subcontractor firm in VEDAŞ. (ILKHA)
