Severe condemnation from Kurdistan Regional Government to Myanmar
NEWS CENTER - The Government of Iraqi Kurdistan Region condemned Myanmar severely because of massacres against Arakanese Muslims.
According to the statement made by the Prime Ministry, it is stated that according to the United Nations data, close to one thousand of Arakanese Muslims faced the massacre, dozens of villages were burned down and 125 thousand Arakanese Muslims had to take shelter in Bangladesh that’s why they have condemned Myanmar severely.
“We strongly condemn the massacre against Arakanese civilian Muslims living in Myanmar." expressions were included in the Government statement.
“On behalf of all the Kurdish people who are faced massacre, genocide, and attacks of DAESH terrorist organization we feel these deep sorrows of the Arakanese Muslims and we offer our support to these Muslim brothers and sisters,” remarking the international community has not reacted sufficiently to the genocide.
Underlining that these massacres against Arakanese Muslims should be stopped, it was requested that the massacres against the civilian population be stopped and the criminals punished in the proper manner. (ILKHA)
