NEWS CENTER - A delegation from International Help Organization Pro Orphan and IHO-Ebrar who are in Kenya within the scope of Eid al-Adha paid a visit to the Embassy of Turkiye and TIKA [Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency].

The delegation of International Help Organization Pro Orphan and IHO-Ebrar who are in Kenya within the scope of Eid al-Adha organization visited the Embassy of Turkiye and Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) and gave information about their works.

The delegations, who performed the Feast of Sacrifice programs in Kenya, visited Turkey's Embassy to Nairobi and TİKA and explained their work in Kenya.

TIKA's Kenya Coordinator Emre Yüksek said that they are ready to provide any kind of help to volunteer representatives of the institutions in order to contribute to the work of the charitable organizations.

Cahit Ataş, volunteer representative for International Help Organization Pro Orphan, and Mutlu Kaya, volunteer representative for IHO-Ebrar were informed about the work of TIKA in Kenya, shared their experiences in Kenya.

The delegation of International Help Organization Pro Orphan and IHO-Ebrar was welcomed by official İsmail Akbulut due to the absence of Ambassador Deniz Eke.

Akbulut, who gave information about Turkiye's humanitarian work in Africa, said that they gave Qur’an to Muslims living in different regions of Kenya.

Ataş and Kaya thanked Turkish Embassy and TİKA for their hospitality and gave brochures and booklets about their activities.

In addition, delegations from International Help Organization Pro Orphan and IHO-Ebrar have distributed sacrifice meat to needy families in Kenya within the Eid al-Adha framework and made orphans happy by their aid.

The delegation who visited the orphanages in Garissa and Dadaab provided clothing and Eid allowance to children and organized a tour program for orphan children in ‘Young Muslim’ madrasa which is the biggest madrasa in Garissa. (Hamza Korkut - ILKHA)
