Number of dead in the Mexican earthquake rose to 90
NEWS CENTER - It was reported that the number of those killed in the earthquake of 8.1 magnitudes took place off the southern coast of Mexico rose to 90.
After the 8.1 magnitudes earthquake struck the off southern coast of the Mexican and Guatemala, the Hurricane Katia also hit the eastern part of the country. While 90 people lost their lives reportedly in the earthquake, the Hurricane Katia hit the country caused landslides.
Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto stated that the earthquake is the most severe earthquake in the century, said it felt by approximately 50 million people.
Civil Defense Coordinator Luis Felipe Puente, said in a statement twitter account that 90 people have lost their lives including 45 in the state of Oaxaca, 10 in the state of Chiapas and 3 in the state of Tabasco.
