Yapicioglu: PKK harms Kurds with its actions
BATMAN - Leader of HUDA PAR Zekeriya Yapicioglu has made explanations about current situation; saying that, “PKK harms Kurds with its actions, violence, guns and bombings aren’t the ways to seek rights.”
HUDA PAR (Free Cause Party) leader Zekeriya Yapicioglu came to Batman to perform some visits in the city and made explanations about the items of the agenda.
Yapicioglu answered the questions of Ilke News Agency about the recent events, declaration of autonomy, coalition process and early election.
“PKK’s bombing attacks resemble ISIS style of actions”
Mentioning especially the PKK’s bombing attacks, Yapicioglu said that, “A few days ago in Batman and in Silopi bombing cars exploded in the entrance of the city. It is a clear contradiction of those carry out these assaults however they are the same people who criticize this kind of ISIS style assaults. There isn’t any clear evidence that who they have targeted and who would have been there or who might have been attacked. These are brutal actions. These actions precisely and undoubtedly included in the definition of the terrorism. These kinds of actions are unacceptable. These are the actions must be condemned.”
“Kurds suffer the biggest harm”
Stating that, an undesired period of clashes started, Yapicioglu said that, “We have got the news of incidents, death and funerals since 20th July. This country doesn’t deserve this. The ones who started these actions may seek a new area through their sense of politics or to strengthen their hands. Yet they claim that these are on behalf of Kurdish people. This is certain that starting a new wave of violence and entering into a conflicting process will harm the Kurds most. This is not an option. Violence, weapons and bombing aren’t the ways to seek rights.”
“The 13 percentage of votes not casted for PKK”
Speaking about the declaration of “autonomy” in some cities and towns, Yapicioglu said that, “Like a joke, the news of consecutively declaration of autonomy is coming from some cities and towns. Ones who were fighting soldiers in the mountains now deem their power lower at that phase that this time tries to push Kurdish minority boys at the fronts to have them killed and exploit funerals of victims. For days and weeks they call upon for uprising to occupy streets but these calls have remained unanswered. I hope they take a lesson from that and understand that the 13 percentage of votes weren’t casted to support PKK’s military actions and ideology.
Will HUDA PAR take part in early election?
Mentioning the participation of HUDA PAR whether as a party or with independent candidates in a possible early election, Yapicioglu said that, “Early election hasn’t become definite yet. When this becomes definite we will negotiate this situation in our authorized bodies to the best decision. Absolutely we will get the opinions of our volunteers and members, too. So, it is early to say something before an exact decision of election made, whether we will take part as a party or with independent candidates.” (ILKHA)
