A mosque without children is cold
SANLIURFA - Mosque imams indicated that mosques are very cold without children, after the end of Quran courses held in mosques which were organized under the slogan of “Come on children, let’s meet with Quran”
After summer holiday started with the closure of the schools, summer Quran courses kicked off under the slogan of “Come on children, let’s meet with Quran.” Teachers of these courses say that, “Courses will resume in September, mosques are very cold when there aren’t children in. We are very glad to see them in the mosques.”
Summer Quran courses organized by Religious Affairs Administration ended. In an activity arranged for students participated in these courses, after breakfast hymns were chanted. Winners of the football tournament arranged for students had their cup and medals.
Besides, students got very glad to have certificate of achievement and medals for hardworking students.
Abdusselam Kaya, one of the course teachers worked for nearly two months, said that, as part of the program; students got lessons for Islamic manner, Quran education and sportive activities and picnics were organized for children.
“Seeing children in the mosque makes us happy”
Kaya, “Started with the closure of the schools, summer Quran courses ended as of today. At the beginning of the course there were 200 students but this number decreased in time. However this wasn’t a big decrease, children jollified the mosques. Mosques are cold without children, we are very happy to educate the children the warrant of our future. In mosques, we had the lessons included morals, Quran alphabet, Quran, reciting Quran, life of our prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and religious knowledge.” said.
“Courses will restart in September”
Saying that courses will restart in September, Kaya said that, “With the opening of the schools, we will gather our students and start our lessons. Organized by Religious Affairs Administration winter courses will last for about 8 months.” (ILKHA)
