BATMAN - HUDA PAR’s Batman Head Province published a written statement regarding the September 12 armed forces coup noting that this event will remain in our minds as a torture regime.
HUDA PAR’s Batman Head Province stated that the September 12 armed forces coup will remain in our minds as a torture regime.
The statement stated that Turkey has become a country of coups, “Since the Republic of Turkey the public is seen as enemies. There has been approaches of Jacobin to pressure publics beliefs and values by designing massacres. The public was forced to live a Western life, which was the countries one of the first coups. Muslims were subject to coups under the excuses of revolution and transformation. The coups in Turkey have been ongoing under different names since early Republic days. The May 27 Coup, September 12 Coup, February 28 Post-Modernist Coup, E-memorandum draws attention to Turkeys coups.”
September 12 Coup was one of the most effective coups, “12 September 1980 resulted in thousands of people being detained and tortured. They were treated without fair trial and hundreds of people were subject to capital punishment and 50 of the detainees were hung. Political parties and civil society organisations were closed down during this period of time. This date remains as a dark page to Turkeys history.”
In the statement it was also stated that 35 years have past over the September 12 Coup and regardless of this we still don’t have a new constitution.
In the statement referred to the lawsuit about the 12 coups, the reconstitution of the military coup trial managers with a persecution stage and no results were obtained.
September 12 coup has an impact on intellectual, technological and development education and is expressed in the statement, "Our people have had experienced torture and are going through trauma, their psychology is affected. The health problems of people passed through torture have not ended yet. It also has created trauma to the public. Except those who had been tortured on September 12, the public see everyone as completely oppressive and tyrannical which remained in human memory as a torture regime."
Finally it was said, "In which prisoners of conscience, deserve to be sentenced to the most severe punishment, we condemn all coups and coup. Those responsible for such a coup at the request of the imperialists should be punished most severely. Even if they are dead people in the removal of at least their rank and they should have no such initiative for coup." (ILKHA)
