‘Only Quran generation can stop the rot’
VAN - Can Laler Cocuk Bahcesi a subsidiary of Van Cami Der (Association of Van Mosque) organized a report card day for 7-9 years old children after a two months education.
Children attended Can Laler Bahcesi a summer education and cultural program organized by Van Cami Der 7-9 years old children oriented, had their reports after two months education.
Speaking in the program which was held out in the open educator Sermin Kaya said they left- course- two years behind, and only a Quran generation can stop the rot.
Starting with the children’s chanting of Quran, poems, hymns and songs sung by children. After the program one of the educators of the course Sermin Kaya answered the questions of ILKHA News Agency.

Briefing about the opening and the goals of Can Laler Bahcesi a subsidiary of Cami-Der, Kaya said that, “Un-Islamic and no ethical life styles and the reflections of them in the society can be resolved only by a Quranic generation.”
Kaya said that, “We all know that a Quranic generation that lives in accordance with Quran can only stop the rot. We are in a struggle for rearing such a generation; as it is said in the proverb ‘as the twig is bent, so grows the tree’ we start with our children. In line with this purpose, we try to educate our children that naturally they have stainless heart, before inclining to worldly affairs and to lead them up bend their heads before Rahman.”
“We urge children to memorize Surahs, hadits and prayers”
Stating that during 8 months of schools term, we try to teach basically Quran to 4-6 years old children, Kaya also indicated that besides Quran, we lead children to memorize Surahs, hadits and prayers. Kaya added that, “Also for religious lessons such as Faith, Aqaid, biography of Prophet and good manners had the children. Besides these we have lessons of line drawing studies, basic mathematics and teaching of letters and other social activities. In summer term we adopt the same lessons to the 7-9 years old children. Our classrooms are for 15 students and there are 2 educators in the lessons. And we support our lessons with visual and some other various activities.”
“Believers! Protect yourselves and your families from fire”
For her last words educator Sermin Kaya advised the parents, “To witness any gain that children had in the course, such as listening to the surahs that they memorize or to approve any good manners they show also afford pleasure to the parents. To carry this happiness to hereafter, we want parents to contact with us to meet these spiritual needs for the first step. We mustn’t forget that we all subject to this verse ‘o you have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are (appointed) angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what commands them but do what they commanded’ and we thank you to give us a place in this interview.” (ILKHA)
