Bursa Umur Kervani Association helped hundreds of families

Bursa Umut Kervani Food Bank Association is known to be active in Bursa and its counties. They reported that they helped families in need this year for Eid Al-Adha by distributing meat, food, furniture and cash with their members and volunteers.

The General Secretary Fethullah Ozsoy made a speech regarding the subject, “Thank God we managed to build a bridge as Bursa Umut Kervani Association between our beneficent public members and those in need. Just like the previous years, this year at first we collected the Qurbani donations from beneficent. At times we were reaching out to the beneficent and at times they were reaching out to us and thank God this way we managed to reach out to hundreds of families in need.”

3 cattle and 8 small ruminants were donated and distributed to poor families said Ozsoy adding that, “During our distributions, we remembered Yasin Boru and his friends who were bloodthirstily martyred last year on Eid when they were distributing Qurban meat to those in need. We reached out to the poor families which they couldn’t. Many Yasin’s and Ismail’s are ready to be sacrificed for the sake of Allah.”

During the month of September, we distributed meat to 300 families, food to 50 families, furniture and clothing to 3 families and cash support to 3 families so in total we helped 356 families said Ozsoy. He concluded his speech by stating, “We will continue to be the voice of the oppressed, poor and lonely. We will be beside them to get their voice across and strengthen their power.” (ILKHA)
