HUDA PAR reported problems with the education syllabus
NEWS CENTER - HUDA PAR reported the issues arising from the education syllabus and drew attention to the fact that the syllabus should include a modern system education system, compatibility with society beliefs and culture.
Free Cause Party’s (HUDA PAR) Education Board announced the National Education Syllabus Investigation Report. The report was concluded with the evaluation of the results and reforms to the education system.
The aim of the report was to decrease the issues with the system and increase the level of education quality, “We wish to remove the enforcement of Kemalist ideologies with other related issues within the education system as identified in the report. We also wish to have a system which does not compromise wannabe Western morals, ethics and traditions.”
It has been reported that the books used in the school connected to the Ministry of National Education contains contents against the publics beliefs and morals. The issues detected with the administration is also available in the report under the Administration Issues subheading.
“The mentality of one party system remains in the education syllabus”
The education system on its own has been inadequate due to the problems within the education syllabus and for this reason it has not developed enough in the areas of international directors, administrator, researcher, industrialist, engineer etc. “Regardless of the reforms over the recent years, the mentality of one party system remain in the education syllabus. More than half of the text books does not reflect the truth behind the history with official dates of dissertations. They contain data which aims to destroy the truth about the history and aim to impose the principle of Ataturk and its revolution to the students. The reforms which have been made since 2005 has been building up with wrong data. Students from different races are forced to study what the education syllabus includes throughout the 12 years of their education life, which consists of Turkish language and literature and excludes the option of studying their mother tongue and literature. People’s beliefs and values are viewed as reactionist and bigotry with the education syllabus because they concentrate on modernism, modernity and civilisation with the republic of Turkey.”
Text books are a guidance to a student
The report reflects that regardless of the reform process to the education system, the text books have nearly not been touched and this is a major issue as text books are the guidance to the education system, “A state and government can best show their future aims, beliefs and culture through a text book. Text books are a guidance to children of the next generation hence it should not contain any contradiction. It cannot be claimed that a child can be brought up connected to their religious beliefs as the text books teach them God’s enemies as an ‘exemplar person’. The public cannot send their children to school safely as there are contradictions within the education system.”
The report also underlined that it is a disaster to direct a child to completely opposite directives when they are at a stage of personality development. This will result in personality disorders in a person as well as contradictions.
“A building is bound to collapse with wrong foundations”
The removal of the Turkish vow, the opening and increase of Imam Preachers Schools and optional lessons of language and religion is not enough change. “Regardless of the reforms, there still a repetition of same mistake and issues within the education system. The mistakes are continuous and this is a sign of disaster for the future kids as the foundations of the system are wrong. A building is bound to collapse with wrong foundations.
As a result, a modern system compatible with peoples beliefs, cultures and morals is urgently required. The required actions should be taken in order to fulfil peoples needs.” (ILKHA)
