‘Hezbollah should be definitely included into the new process’
GAZIANTEP - Making assessment about the natures and counterparts of peace process that being discussed after the 1st November elections, Lawyer- Author Huseyin Kursun emphasized that Hezbollah community and HUDA PAR should definitely be included in the new process.
Making assessment about the counterparts of the solution process that was started to be discussed after the president Erdogan stated that name of the new process that going to be started is going to be 'National Unity and Brotherhood Process' Lawyer- Author Huseyin Kursun indicated that Hezbollah community and HUDA PAR should definitely be included into the new process.
Criticizing the previous process and just the PKK being taken as counterpart but Islamic communities particularly Hezbollah community, opinion leaders and scholars not being included into the process, Lawyer-Author Huseyin Kursun, indicated that in order not to fall into the mistakes that they fallen before, the state should definitely include the Hezbollah community which is the reality of the region and HUDA PAR into the new process.
Making assessments to the Ilke News Agency (ILKHA) about the new process that is going to be started and the sectors that are going to be taken as interlocutors, Lawyer-Author Huseyin Kursun indicated the Kurdish problem can only be solved with including different social sectors and discussing it with different social movements.
Drawing attention to that Hezbollah is representor of the values in the region Kursun, indicated that also Hezbollah community is effective in representing the community in the region. Kursun said; "By only taking the PKK as interlocutor, the representors of Muslim Kurts were ignored. As well as other organized elements of the region also HUDA PAR or Hezbollah community should be included into the new process."
"The guns should be quieten"
Indicating that the peace process cannot be discussed without leaving Weapons Kursun, the new process that is going to be initiated, rather than being a matter between the government and Imrali should be spread to the general region.
Kursun, said; "I have personally interpreted the words of President saying that ' we put the solution process into the refrigerator' as; we can’t discuss the solution process without finishing the chaos atmosphere, making the PKK leave their weapons. In the new period, I think prudent people in the hdp should well evaluate the message and need to address the issue more broadly. And the government side, should remove the problem from being a matter between the government – Imrali and should spread it across the region. By consulting the structure of the region with opinion leaders, regardless to their connection to HDP they should negotiate with all NGOs. Also the guns should be quietened this is the only way that the process can continue."
"I think Hezbollah is more effective in representation"
Underlining that Hezbollah is a fact of the region and is a community that haven’t used gun for 15 years, Kursun said; "Hezbollah is; A movement that left weapons and operating as associations in a completely legal statue. Therefore it needs to be taken as interlocutor. Especially Hezbollah needs to be taken as interlocutor. Because I think Hezbollah is more effective in representing the people of Eastern Turkey. You know the people from eastern Turkey are more religious and conservative. "
"Hezbollah is making the representation of the values in the region"
Indicating that Hezbollah community has been representing the values of the region, Kursun said; "If you ask to a Kurdish citizen what Marxism is they won’t know but if you even ask about prayers to one even doesn’t pray, they will know this very well. Therefore, it is Hezbollah that represents the values of the region. Hezbollah is not a movement that disjointed from Kurdish people spiritually and intellectually as HDP and PKK. In this sense, of course, it needs to be discussed with Hezbollah. This problem is only can be solved with negotiating with various social sectors and consultation with various opinion leaders."
