JERUSALEM - Cuddling visitors coming from Turkey and many other regions of the World, Muslims in Jerusalem and Palestine, say: "The biggest support that Muslims can offer us is not to leave us alone."

Jerusalem is waiting for its Muslim visitors

First Qibla of Muslims, one of the three holy mosques and the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) ascension to space out the Al-Aqsa Mosque, are occupied since 1967. Muslims from Palestine are trying their best to protect these places with high moral value.

Despite all the persecution and oppression of terror regime Israelis; Al-Aqsa Mosque is standing up and waiting for Muslims to visit them.

Developed within the umrah visit to Mecca and Medina also Jerusalem begun to Show itself in the religious tourism. Accepted as holy place by all monotheistic religions, Jerusalem besides being the second most important place after the Masjid al-Haram also is center of pilgrimage for Christians.

While the number of touristic tours from different regions of the World to Jerusalem have increased, Muslims in Jerusalem want this number to increase further.

Jerusalem is hosting 3 million visitors every year

Speaking to Ilke News Agency (ILKHA) responsible Mouhammad Emir, said that they are hosting approximately 3 million visitors per year. Mouhammad Emir indicated that only 1 hundred thousand of the visitors are Muslim and most interest have shown by visitors from Turkey with number of 50 thousand. Emir also indicated that thousands of Muslims from Malesia, Indonesia, Pakistan, India, Singapore, Afghanistan and other European countries are visiting Jerusalem per year.

"Muslims should do their duty"

Indicating that their biggest hope is guests from Turkey, Emir called to Muslims in Turkey by saying; “Please do not leave the Al-Aqsa alone. Who will be with us if you leave us. Do your duty. Jews should leave here. It is enough we cannot take this anymore. It is hard for us to continue our life in this infamy and disgrace."

"We are working in Al-Aqsa Mosque with a team of 700 people"

Indicating that they serve in Al-Aqsa mosque with a team of 700 people, Emir said that they couldn’t work comfortable. Stating that Israelis do not allow the restoration of Al-Aqsa, indicated that Palestinians younger than 40 years are not allowed to the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Prior places to visit

Emir stated that the visitors from Turkey and many regions of the world are visiting important places of the Islamic world as; Jerusalem, Bayt al Maqdis, Al-Aqsa Mosque and Burak masjids. While Christian visitors are visiting the Holy Sepulcher and multi Nation’s church, Jews coming from the outside Israel are visiting the Wailing Wall. Within the tours visitors are also going to Al- Khalil city where the prophet Abraham’s Tomb is, Beyt Al-Lahm, Jericho, Tel Aviv, Dead sea where the people of Lot were perished and Jaffa city where the Ottoman artifacts are still standing at.

Muslims are stopping over at East Jerusalem

Primarily visitors come from Turkey and other Muslim countries are stopping over at hotels in East Jerusalem because of walking distance to Al-Aksa mosque and Halal food reasons. Other reasons that Muslims choose to stop over at Jerusalem is because most of the hotel owners in East Jerusalem are Palestinian or Jordanian.

Jewish persecution in the heart of Jerusalem

In the heart of this city with all four sides of it are surrounded with city walls built by Magnific Suleiman, there is first qibla of Muslims Al-Aksa mosque that hosted the Ascension miracle of Prophet Mouhammad. The last incidents and security measures that reported on the print and visual media making the visitors nervous. The Israeli soldiers that seen every corner are giving psychological disorder to the visitors. Letting women, children, and 50 + years old men to Al-Aksa mosque from time to time Jews want to address the message of "We only allow those who are vulnerable of you to this sacred place." Visitors are mainly disturbed by the Israeli polices in Al-Aksa mosque and Jerusalem security check point.

Living the Jerusalem without Muslims project of Israel

While regular settlements are built up in Jewish districts, Muslim neighborhoods are far away from investments and maintenance. Charming air of Jerusalem in the massive stone structures is messed up by the Jewish municipality not removing garbage. Not being able to get service by the Municipality, Muslim shopkeepers are cleaning front of their shop and environment by themselves.

Also the Jewish Municipalities, are trying to remove the Palestinians under the pretext of urbanization. In particular, one of the methods that Israelis use to remove Palestinians living around the Wailing Wall is to try to buy their houses for high prices. Living in a house with the view of the Wailing Wall is one of the ways to being rewarded with paradise for Jews. A room overlooking at the Wailing wall with 9-square-meter costs around $ 1 million. Despite many houses overlooking at the Wailing Wall have been sold before, Muslims reject to sell their houses even for 100 Million dollars is taking attention.

Palestinians particularly want to welcome Turkish Muslims

Muslims from Jerusalem are emphases that they would like moral support of Turkish Muslims besides the material support. In every opportunity expressing their wish to host Turkish Muslims as they are the biggest supporters of the Palestinian case, Palestinian Muslims speak positive about Turkish Muslims almost every where.

Indicating that every foreign Muslim that they see in Palestine helps them to stand up stronger, Palestinian Muslim Ahmad Taha, said; "Please come here. Bring your children as well, let them play in the garden of Al-Aqsa. If you do not come here then Israelis will occupy our Mosque. Do not send us money. If you come here, then we will be existed even with hunger. Israel doesn’t persecute us while you are here. You are supporting us with your existence. You are the essence owners of these lands. As the westerns are supporting the Christians here, we would like our brothers from Turkey to support and visit us." (ILKHA)
