ELAZIG - Elazig Ihya-Der Association distributed heaters and fuel for heating to Syrian refugees.

Elazig Ihya Cultural Education Support and Solidarity Association distributed soba and fuel for heating to the Syrian refugees who ran away from the civil war to settle in Turkey.
Mehmet Zulfu Ozturk shared some information about their support, “A beneficent man donated some money to us and we used this cash to buy 95 soba and 10 tonnes of wood for the Syrian refugees.”
Ozturk mentioned the Fugitive Ansar brotherhood in prophet Muhammad’s time stating that, “We should follow their route to re-create this institution in our century as we have not yet achieved the Fugitive Ansar brotherhood.”
“We should not forget our brotherhood or make them feel derelict”
Ozturk continued, “I would like to underline that we should not forget about our brotherhood or make them feel derelict. These people have been going through major struggles whilst we stay home with our families in our warm beds.
We should look at it from their perspective too because we could have been in their position and it could have been them helping us just the way we are now. If we look at it from this angle, we will act more sensitive and serious about situation. We should think about hereafter too because if we ignore and forget those in need now Allah may ignore and forget us in the hereafter.”
Ozturk added, “We should not forget our brotherhood. We advice all other help institutions or individuals as well as Ihya-Der to help these people because we might be in the same position one day.” (ILKHA)
