A solidarity march for Palestine in Kayseri

A solidarity march under the name of ‘Solidarity with Palestinian Mothers’ was organized by Islamic NGOs in Kayseri in which hundreds of people took place in it.

Gathering in front of a shopping mall, the group marched to the Cumhuriyet Square shouting slogans ‘Thousand greetings from Kayseri to Aqsa’, Down with Israel’, ‘Glad tidings for Palestinian Mothers’, ‘Ummah’s hope is Palestinian Mothers’.

After the march a press statement was read by Zeynep Isik, the head of support committee for Palestinian Mothers, in the square. Isık said in the statement that 70 years ago Zionists came to these so called holy lands to make their goals come true and they started to wipe the Palestinian off the lands unlawfully and savagely. Not only in their lands but also they sowed discord and spread perverseness all over the world. The brief history of the Zionists is full of brutality and violence.

Isik added that, “We are not here just talk about the children who were killed while they were playing on the beach or the girls slain just that they reject to take off their headscarves or a 13 years old girl who was fusilladed that because didn’t let his bag to be searched or young people who were shot in the streets and abandoned there unattended and lost their lives because of loss of blood or men taken into custody and never heard again or orphaned children and widowed women or hearts remained hopeless but we are here to declare this cursed nation’s collaboration with other enemies of Islam to the world.”

The activity ended with the prayer recited and the group has left the square with the slogans of ‘keep go on the resistance and thousands greetings to Quds’ and ‘shoulder to shoulder against brutality’ (ILKHA)
