ERBIL - Reacting to PKK’s occupying the public buildings in Shingal region, Peshmerga forces commander Kasim Seso said they couldn’t serve to people because of PKK occupying the public buildings.

After the Peshmerga forces took the control of Shingal, PKK occupied some public buildings and resisting not to live the buildings reported.

Shingal Peshmerga forces commander Kasim Seso indicated that PKK produces new execuises everyday in order not to leave these public buildings and because of that civil servants couldn’t serve citizens.

Seso used following statements in the in KDP’s web site: "After Shingal was rescued PKK captured some public buildings and still haven’t left them. We asked PKK to leave the publice buildings and they accepted that.  But they find different execuises everytime and they don’t leave them."

Stating that the PKK should leave the public buildings as soon as possible, seso said, "Public buildings are not belong to a party nor anyone elsea. Public buildings are belong to public and government. Therefore, PKK should leave the buildings. The public buildings and civil servant won’t be able to serve public unless the PKK leaves the buildings."

Indicating about the subject, Ezidi kurds representor Seydo Ceto, have been saying that PKK have been using the public properties as military bases.

Indicating that they asked PKK to leave the buildings but they said that they were waiting for decision from Bagdat, Ceto said both Bagdat and Erbil should take decision and find a solution for that.

After the Pasmerga forces captured Shingal, armed PKK forces went to city center and occupied 7 publice buildings. Despite all the wornings of Kurdistan government not leaving the buildings, PKK forces indicated that they wouldn’t leave the buildings unless the Bagdat government asked them to. (ILKHA)
