ANKARA - Turkish Presidential Spokesman Kalın, who made a statement about the visit of President Erdoğan to the three Gulf countries, said, “Continuing current initiatives to resolve the crisis through negotiation and dialogue has been agreed upon.”

Presidential Spokes Kalın made a statement about President Erdoğan's visit to three Gulf countries.
“President Erdoğan has visited Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar on 23-24 July 2017. Bilateral relations, as well as regional matters such as the developments in Syria and Iraq, the fight against terror, have been discussed. Mr. President has expressed that Turkey supports efforts being carried out by Kuwait and other initiatives in order to overcome the crisis in the Gulf region. He has come to an agreement with his interlocutors that the current initiatives should be continued for the resolution of the crisis through negotiation and dialogue,” Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın said.
The movement of Islamic countries in unity
Presidential Spokes Kalın concluded his statement as: “The importance of Muslim countries’ need to act in unity, and protecting countries’ sovereign rights has also been underscored. Strengthening current relations, investments, tourism, and defense industry, in particular, has been agreed upon.” (ILKHA)
