"We have included the Armenian churches in the restoration context"

DIYARBAKIR - Deputy Prime Minister Çavuşoğlu held a talk in Diyarbakır and said that they have included Armenian Protestant and Catholic churches in the scope of restoration that are destroyed in the events in Sur.

Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Çavuşoğlu, who came to Diyarbakır to visit various contacts, visited the Governor's Office.

Meeting with the Governor Hasan Basri Güzeloğlu, Deputy Prime Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that Diyarbakır had been cradled by different civilizations for centuries and said that they would continue to work to make the city a center of attraction.

Çavuşoğlu said, "Diyarbakır has been mentioned with unfortunate terror events for the past 30 years as it never deserved, and it is unfortunate that there has been demolition and people have been killed, unfortunately, we lost many of our lives, the young, the old, the women and the men."

Çavuşoğlu, in his speech, said:

"Of course, terrorism not only against human and Islam but shows a great hostility to anything that is common values of humanity. Indeed, today we included Armenian Protestant and Armenian Catholic church in the restored context those had been turned into ruins by the terrorist. In this process, we will continue to realize our dedication to both the government and the foundations within the scope of duty. So that the five million tourists we are aiming to travel in the region and Diyarbakır will be the center of attraction again." (Abdurrahman Tetik, Mehmet Çelik - ILKHA)
